About Us

Once upon a time (in 2007) in a land far, far away (Alpharetta, GA) there lived a Mommy (me) and a little girl (my daughter, Grayson), who was about to turn 4. My husband and I were having our annual ‘debate’ about the kind of party to have for Grayson. I was bored with the inflatable parties and wanted something different and memorable.

My daughter loves magic so having a magician entertain the kids for an hour seemed like an easy solution. But I couldn’t let the magician show up and perform in my well-worn family room, right? No! I was determined to transform the space into the ultimate ‘stage’ for his magical performance! My first instinct was 'I need to find someone to come in, decorate, and run this party for me!' But after a lot of encouragement from my family and friends saying, "You can do it... we'll help!” and “You’re good at decorating….you might as well do it yourself,” I decided to take their advice and throw the party myself.

I planned and decorated…and then planned and decorated some more. The party was a smashing success and it was less messy than I had anticipated. Best of all, the kids enjoyed themselves and were very well behaved. The feedback from the parents was fantastic and friends suggested that I start a business as a party planner. And that’s how Pint-Sized Parties was born.

Our goals at Pint-Sized Parties are simple:
  • Make the party as memorable for your birthday child as that magic party was for my daughter. (In fact, she’s still talking about it!)
  • Offer parties that are as special and unique as each birthday child
  • Make all of our pint-sized partiers happy and exclaiming how this was their best birthday party ever!

The dreaded goody bags

I don’t know any mom who actually likes those awful goody bags, especially the ones full of candy and cheap toys that break before you get home. So our philosophy is to make our ‘Pint-Sized Party Pails’ fun, unique, and customized for each party’s theme – no junk and no candy!

We want to make sure that each guest takes home something that they will continue using and playing with – and a keepsake that they’ll cherish.
